History: Astaro was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Gardener, but she got bored and became a Marshal. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a worn and beaten armor and is in decent physical shape. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired her part-time. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a black shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and green pants. Her dark red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her eyes are silver.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a Masseuse, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
