History: Elizabeth lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
