History: Born in the south to a Miner, Gynnie learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Recently the stress of being a Miner has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. Valafar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Cook, but she got bored and became a Shepherd. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
