History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After months of barely getting by, Nala managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and revenge

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
