History: He was born in a small island village. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and many giants want him driven away

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Server, but he was a colossal failure. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her dark red hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family
