When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Valida and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Helen was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Helen's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Tanner. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Kasdeya learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a performer again

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
