History: Cockaby was born the youngest of three triplets. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
