History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Roondar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Body Guard for hire.
