History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vaina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His auburn hair is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
