Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Adrex studied abroad. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Doctor.

She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
