When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
