History: Nalaed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Lerissa hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and a rival would like her out of the picture
