History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Garl was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Synthrin learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Synthrin liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Mialee was taken on many hunting expeditions. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Mialee never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
