History: He was born in a small island village. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
