History: Trail was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trail fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She got into the Unemployed business at a young age. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Kyle began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
