History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Drifting lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
