History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Miller, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This tall, slender man wears a tan tunic with brown highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and to unite with his brother

Description: She wears a black feathered hat and black clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'5" when asserting herself. Her hair is dark red and curly. Her silver eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to settle down with her crush

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nora studied abroad. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is unsatisfied with her job
