History: Marastyr lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: A middle-aged woman, she likes to wear violet tank tops with black skirt, and is pretty ugly. She has wavy white hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Description: He wears a blue costume with the symbols of death on his torso, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. He has golden hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout. Her gold crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
