Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for her, and Pearl does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is her passion.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She found a children's book about a Gnome Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Apothecary. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Healer again; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
