History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance.
