Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Performer. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
