History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Lilli was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frouse grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
