History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gurdis was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Quarethon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture
