History: She is a Succubi in disguise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

She found a children's book about a Tiefling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Kali and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kali discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kali fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
