Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Verin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Delebean's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to be a courier again

Description: She wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She keeps her long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a courier and was forced into it by her family
