He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Miller, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He also hits on men, regardless of circumstances.

History: Chem lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She got into the Sellsword business at a young age. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is greedy.
