Personality: Uthemar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uthemar grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business

Description: He stands about 5'2" and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length blue hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Laborer. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern
