History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Ribbles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Umpen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and his religion dominates his actions
