History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.
