Description: This tall, slender man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 22. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Duergath hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. Through the years after Tordek was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tordek's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is dressed in an above average manner. His tied-back hair is chestnut. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: He wears a brown vest and prefers black and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is portly but not overly obese. His black fur is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are likewise copper.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lone alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This late middle aged woman typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull brown iron scale mail and is in decent physical shape. She has done her best to style her silver crest to look like a famous performer. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with her old friends
