History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
