History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spy. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
