History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Left-Handed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Left-Handed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by her family; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'10". She very much looks the part of a Marshal. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. She has blue eyes and a brown hat with a red feather.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Yurgunn was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Yurgunn's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alvyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Alvyn was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fletcher. He has achieved small success as a Fletcher.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to get a good night's sleep
