His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in the west to a Body Guard, Ilde learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ilde was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and wants to open a new tavern

His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hamil was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: She wears a simple black robe with grey stripes complete with hood. She carries with her a set of whips on her belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She keeps her long brass crest kept up in a rat tail. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Felosial is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Felosial was born with her father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
