Description: 2'10" and muscular, this eastern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker white hat.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Halfling Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Alvyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a baker again

He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired him part-time. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he's in love
