History: Cora hails from a village terrorized by illithids. After coming to the age of reason, Cora took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Norman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Norman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
