Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Body Guard. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Body Guard for hire.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a very tight haircut. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Ernest enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is content; and he wants revenge against dire rats
