History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Marshal but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Armorer and was forced into it by her family; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and retire the richest woman in the south
