His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Engraver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She wears a black small hat and black clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'2" when asserting herself. She has done her best to style her black crest to look like a famous performer. She is baby faced.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is an amazing painter.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and to pay off her debts

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears baggy grey pantaloons and a blue scarf. Her hair is short and red. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nora does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Rimmon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
