History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Art is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Art's homeland. Art decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Scribe who has hired her part-time. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Junk Dealer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in the south to a Performer, Harriet learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Harriet took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
