Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Smoking began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Left-Handed was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Junk Dealer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: Akta lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Barber, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
