Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for him, and Oppleby does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oppleby grew up listening to his father's many stories. Oppleby was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fisher. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He is a husky man, who does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His auburn hair is still thick. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pikar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His purple hair is heavily combed to the right. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: A 6'1" northern man, he wears a black small hat and black clothes. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His red eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She wears her rusty crest up. Her red eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like her out of the picture
