She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Oppleby never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
