Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born in the west. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Valorean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
