History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Ruler like his mother before him.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and further expansion of business

Description: This man has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Veit was born the youngest of three triplets. Veit abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
