Sarai Strongbones, Female Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. Her white hair is cut short. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sarai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sarai. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Adam Holland, Male Half-Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This malnourished man is typically in his Stylist uniform. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Adam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
