Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hatae does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Faral was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and revenge

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Moon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. Jade enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants revenge against brigands
