History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Miles is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dyer profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Dyer, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bowyer.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to be a dyer again

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her fur is black, silky, and of moderate length. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: River was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her brown fur has been sun bleached extensively. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her fur is cut close to her head. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Shadow speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Shadow is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to open a new tavern
