Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light violet in addition to tight pants. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Shanairla is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her glaive with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. Her silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Sybil does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she very much looks the part of a Barrister, and is pretty ugly. Her auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Description: She wears just a brown suit. She is physically well-built. Her white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Balifra never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her fur is cinnamon and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Tree is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tree is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Tree was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and to find somewhere to settle down
