History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
